Adjust The Vertical Space Between Icons
In this task you will learn
how to adjust the space between your icons you have on your desktop.
You can see here I do not
have any icons other than the RECYCLE BIN but I will change this soon.
Right click on the desktop
and select PROPERTIES from the list.
In the DISPLAY PROPERTIES
dialog box, click the APPEARANCE tab, Then, click ADVANCED.
Click the Drop Down arrow and
select ICON SPACING (VERTICAL) from the list.
You can adjust the SIZE box
to move the icons closer or further apart.
Select OK after you have
made your choice.
Select OK on this box.
To change the spacing for you
existing desktop icons you will need to
right-click your desktop, click ARRANGE ICONS BY
And then click ALIGN TO
GRID.
The next step is to
right-click your desktop, click ARRANGE ICONS BY and then click AUTO ARRANGE.
You can see my icons on the
desktop with the spacing between them that I specified in this task.
